All of life revolves around your understanding of what God’s kingdom is and about what your life is supposed to revolve around, according to the Word of the Lord.

God started with Adam and Eve, producing a race of people of which we are a part. He had a plan for their lives, just as He has ‘thee’ plan for our lives. The Bible tells us we have authority over all the earth.

It is important for us to realize that God gave authority to man (men & women) over all the earth. Since man has dominion over the earth, this is why there both good and bad things happening under man’s dominion. When the righteous are ruling there is peace and when the wicked are ruling there is turmoil. This can be seen through out man’s history. When men pray unto God and turn from their wicked ways God hears and heals their land brining prosperity. God will make those that are seeking Him a blessing to all other nations.

Genesis 12 talks about Abraham and the promise that was given to him and how he became a blessing to all nations. Just as Abraham was a blessing to others it is God’s desire for each of us to be a blessing to others, our families, friends, co-workers, and everyone else. We are commanded to love everyone not just those who love us.

Proverbs 4

For the most part, we want to believe that we think right and do right most of the time because we weigh the circumstances and think we know what will be the outcome. The Bible tells us ‘lean on our own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him (God) and He will direct our path’. This means we are to consult God for what path we should go. This is not only for spiritual matter but also for the important decisions, even daily decisions, that we are to make for our own lives and for the lives of our families, as the heads of our households. Reading the Word of God daily causes us to have the knowledge that God wants us to have, in order to make good decisions.

In addition to knowledge of the Word of God we need wisdom, which is the ability to use our experience and knowledge to make good decisions. Having experience and knowledge to not ‘automatically’ give us he ability to make the best decisions possible. By asking God for wisdom, relying not on our own understanding, we can then receive liberally from God the wisdom of which we are in need.

In James we are encouraged to ask God for wisdom.

So clearly, understanding the Word of God and His will for our lives enables us to obtain an understanding of what God’s kingdom is and about what our life is supposed to revolve around, according to the Word of the Lord.

To have a desire to live a long and prosperous life is fine, but to accomplish this requires we give ourselves over to His will and His way.

Part of God’s will is that all be saved and none be lost.

Be Born-Again By the Spirit of the Lord!

There is but one road to eternal and everlasting salvation:

John 3:16 – Believe that God is and that that He has a son whose name is Jesus.

Romans 5:8
– That despite our sins God loves us and His love is made perfect through the one Christ Jesus. God’s love for us is total and complete, lacking nothing.

Romans 3:23 – No one is left out of God’s love.

Romans 6:23 – for our sins we deserve death, a complete and total separation from God – this is a just due reward for wages of sin, but we have a gift available to us, we only have to accept the free gift of Jesus the Christ.

Biblical death is a separation from God. If one continues in sin, choosing to remain spiritually dead up to and including their physical death then they will be cast into the lake of fire, and remain totally and completely separated from God for all eternity.

2 Corinthians 5:21 – The debt for sin must always be paid.

So, how can you receive God’s free gift of love and life?

Romans 10:9-10 – say with your mouth t you believe that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe that God raised Him, Jesus His Son, from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13 – “for whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Don’t wait until about to die before you confess openly that Jesus is the Lord of your life, you may not be able to speak or even think the words!

God is telling us in His Word that we need to get knowledge, understanding and wisdom. So then this is what we need to be doing so that we do not fall into the trap of ‘I know the Bible says this … but this … is the way it really works.

Jesus, and what happened to Him is the focal point of everything in this life. That being the case, shouldn’t you seek to know everything about Him and a life centered on Jesus.

Proverbs 4:7-15 – Wisdom is the principal thing, the most important thing.

Wisdom is not just about reading it is also about doing, the wise person does what the Word of the Lord says to do.

Proverbs 3:1-2

Psalms 103:1-2

Proverbs 3:3-5 – write then on your heart, this is ‘doing’, specifically studying the Word of god so that it will be constantly on your mind and this will cause it to be a constant part of your everyday life, without trying to ‘make it’ a part of your life.

Getting understanding of God’s kingdom and His plan for you will cause you to be blessed, bringing favor with God and with man.

Proverbs 3:6-21

God brings correction not disease, He doesn’t ‘beat up’ on people with cancer and other diseases. He blesses those that seek after His wisdom and understanding.

Ephesians 1:15-18 - It takes studying, prayer and revelation to hear the Word of the Lord and understand your part in God’s kingdom. We need to open the eyes of our hearts, open the eyes of our understanding, open our ears to hear what the Spirit of God is saying, John 10:27.

Proverbs 3:21-24 – We are to live sure footed, confident in our decisions, unafraid with restful and refreshing sleep, Matthew 6:32-34 – don’t worry about tomorrow! In order to get to the place were we can rest refreshingly without worry we have to make decisions. We have to decide to make Jesus the Lord of life and not just want Him to be only our Savior. We have to make decisions to seek out the understanding the Lord makes available to us through His Word.

Proverbs 3:25 – As long as you are mine and I am yours you have nothing to fear when ruin comes the wicked.

Proverbs 3:26 – The Lord is what causes our confidence to be sure.

Knowing and understanding God’s plan for each of our lives causes our lives to be a blessing to others, Christian and the unsaved a like. This is why our lives revolve around understanding God’s Kingdom.
